The deputy chairman of the executive branch of Jabrail district Arif Farzaliyev confirmed the fact of protests, but now the situation in the villages where refugees are located, is "stable", he said.
He said that the electricity supply has been restored. Refugees do not have any outstanding debt for electricity, but the locals have exceeded the limit, and switchgear highlighted network cut off the light, as well as discontinued water and light supply to 11 settlements for refugees. After negotiations with the authorities the issue was settled, Farzaliyev said.
In turn, the Interior Ministry and prosecutor's office issued a joint statement, which says that a group of refugees from Jabrail went to the building of the executive power, demanding pay for the used electricity.
Protesters conflicted with police forces, causing injuries to nine policemen, breaking the windows of the police car with stones and sticks. In the course of the taken measures, active participants in the riots in Jalal Guliyev and Gulaga Ahmadov were detained.
In fact the Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit under the Article 186.2.2 (deliberate destruction of property), 233 (violation of public order) and 315.2 (violence against representatives of the authorities). -16D-
