Representatives of Red Cross Visit POW Elnur Huseynzadeh
February 14 representatives of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) visited the POW Azeri military Elnur Huseynzadeh held in Armenia since February 1.
According to Armenian media, the purpose of the visit was acquaintance with the conditions of detention and treatment, the opportunity to keep in touch with his family, said the spokesman for the ICRC mission in Karabakh.
According to the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan, on 1 February the Armenian side fired at Azerbaijani positions from grenade launchers. During the suppression of enemy fire Sergeant Isayev Rauf was wounded.
With regard Elnur Huseynzadeh, the Ministry of Defense reported that he at that time was demobilized for systematic violations of discipline. However, the Ministry of Defence did not explain what the demobilized man was doing on the front line. -02D-
