Sentence in «the case of Nardaran" (Updated-VIDEO)
The Baku Serious Crimes Court completed reading the verdict on the accused " in the Nardaran case". The trial completed at about 17:00.
The leader of the movement "Muslim unity" Thale Bagirzade was sentenced to 20 years in prison. His deputy, Abbas Huseynov – to 20 years in prison. Both will serve the first seven years of the period in the Gobustan high security prison.
The APFP deputy chairman Fuad Gahramanli, Ramin Yaryev and Agil Guliyev were sentenced to 10 years in prison. In addition the court sentenced Jabbar Jabbarov to 19 years, Rasim Jabrailov to 17 years, Fuad Gahramanli - to 10 years, Ramin Yaryev and Agil Guliyev - to 10 years in prison.
The remaining accused - Shamil Abdulaliev, Zakir Mustafayev, Jahad Babakishizade, Abbas Guliyev, Ibrahim Hudaverdieva, Etibar Ismayilov, Bahruz Guliyev, Ali Nuriyev, Alibala Valiyev, Farhad Balaev and Abbas Tagiyev were sentenced to 14.5 years in prison.
About 200 worshipers gathered outside the courthouse and accepted the verdict by chanting religious slogans. -06D-

Today the Baku Serious Crimes Court has begun the reading of the sentence to 18 defendants in "Nardaran case", including the leader of the movement "Muslim unity" Thale Bagirzade and 16 of his supporters, APFP deputy chairman Fuad Gahramanli. By 16 o'clock the reading of the verdict continued.
Security measures around the courthouse intensified. The press room has not been admitted. Around the court gathered the residents of Nardaran and public figures. The defendants were accused of murder, terrorism, organizing mass disorders, illegal trafficking in firearms and ammunition in the creation of armed groups, inciting religious hatred, resistance or application of violence concerning the representative of authority and an attempt to seize power. Gahramanli is accused of organizing mass disturbances, inciting religious hatred and anti-state calls.
The state prosecutor called to convict Bagirzade to life imprisonment, and his deputy, Abbas Huseynov to 20 years in prison.
Jabbar Jabbarov - to 19 years, Rasim Jabrailov - 17 years, Fuad Gahramanli - 11 years, Ramin Yaryev - 10 years in prison.
