Son of Head of Sabail District Sentenced to 5.5 Years
Today, the Baku Court of Grave Crimes completed the trial on the death of Sanan Mirzoyev, the son of the head of the Baku office of Mc Donald's, Magsud Mirzoyev, in a traffic accident.
The court found Ilham Askerli and Ahliman Suleymanov guilty of this and sentenced them to 5.5 years and 6 years in prison. Both were taken into custody in the courtroom.
Recall that Sanan Mirzoyev was killed in a car accident on 29 September 2014. The accident occurred on the highway Zig-Airport, when the Mercedes S500 driven by Ilham Askerli crashed into the truck Howo managed by Ahliman Suleymanov.
In the Mercedes there were also Sanan Mirzoyev and Parvin Fatullayev (driver, which had given control of the car to Ilham).
Sanan Mirzoyev died in hospital a short time later. Fatullayev and Askerli were injured and placed under house arrest after treatment.
The witnesses indicated that the Mercedes was driving at a speed of 180-200 km / h and hit the truck while trying to overtake.
It is noteworthy that Sanan Mirzoyev was taken to a poorly equipped hospital in Sabunchu and Askerli, who is the son of the head of the Sabail district, Asif Askerli, was taken to the Central Clinical Hospital.
The ambulance, which was carrying Sanan, was not equipped with a respirator that would be important to Mirzoyev, who received a head injury.
According to the father of the deceased, Magsud Mirzoyev, the head of the district only tried to rescue his son, but he took no steps to help Sanan. Magsud Mirzoyev himself was traveling abroad then.
It only remains to answer the question if the head of the Sabail district will resign, or if he will continue to sit in his chair. -0-
