The arrested man died in police station
Baku resident Rauf Korabeynikov died of heart attack on October 3 in the Police Station N13 in the Sabunchi district.
According to the head of the Committee against Torture, Elchin Behbudov, the man was arrested on suspicion of a crime and taken to the police station, but managed to escape from there. Some time later, he was again arrested, and taken to the police station, and a few hours later, he died during interrogation. Police called Ambulance Services, but they could not save him.
Examination of the body revealed no signs of violence or torture, said Behbudov, adding that the fact requires serious investigation. -05B-
