The court ordered the authorities of Mingachevir and Zatatala to respond to a request from a journalist
Baku / 25.12.19 / Turan: The Sheki Administrative-Economic Court upheld the lawsuit of the editor of the website 7gun.az Javid Shiraliyev against the Executive power of the city of Mingachevir and Zagatala region.
The lawsuit was filed in connection with the refusal of the administrations of Mingachevir and Yevlakh to answer an information request regarding the supply of kindergartens and nurseries.
In particular, the journalist asked to answer questions about the number of kindergartens and nurseries, the number of children attending them, the staffing of these institutions, the types and norms of food provided in preschool institutions, funds allocated for repairs, etc.
The court ordered the authorities of Mingachevir and Zagatala to answer these questions of the journalist.
Earlier, at the suit of the journalist, the same obligations were imposed on the authorities of Agsu district.
So far, the Agsu administration has not responded to the request, but has not filed an appeal against the court's decision. –06D-
