The whole world is watching how the Azerbaijani army is waging war in accordance with the most modern standards of the 21st century. Professionally trained military operations are carried out with precision in mountainous areas full of serious natural obstacles. Along with natural tunnels, caves, dense forests, which impede the acceleration of hostilities, serious defensive fortifications have been built here over the past 27 years. The 3-4 echelons of defense systems installed on the line of contact consist of unimaginable obstacles, fortifications, bunkers, tunnels, and protective devices. The tunnels and bunkers built here are extremely difficult to break down and pass through concrete walls that are several meters thick. In these underground shelters, there are shelters in which you can place a tank, hail and other military equipment, provide the weapons and food necessary for a long-term defense. Undoubtedly, the patrons and allies of the Armenians, especially France and other countries, played a special role in the construction of such an impassable defense line, called the Ohanyan wall.
There is widespread information in the media about the role of France in the construction of such tunnels for PKK-PYD in Syria (they, while helping the Armenians in the construction of these defensive structures, actually wanted to present Azerbaijan with a fact and did not hide their intentions at some points). Although it was extremely difficult to conduct quick combat operations in areas full of obstacles, our army put into practice the saying “there is no impassable defense line” and in a short time broke through the Fizuli-Jabrayil-Hadrut line, breaking those lines that were considered impassable.
Of particular note are the 10-kilometer tunnels, bunkers, trenches, engineering structures built in mountainous areas in the direction of Agdere. These rat-hole-like fortifications and engineering structures resemble an underground city.
The bunkers built in high-mountainous areas and dense forests seem inconceivable for the construction of meter-thick walls using concrete and rubber wheels. However, our army has achieved serious success at the heights around the villages of Gulistan, Talish, and Sugovushan, including those parts that are located near the Sarsang reservoir, Tonashen, Gulistan and Kechalan, which was considered by the Armenians impossible to enter the territory of Karabakh.
In 2006 the Israeli army, one of the strongest and most technologically advanced armies in the world, was forced to cross the fortifications, tunnels and bunkers built by Hezbollah in Lebanon for several months, although they were much weaker than in Karabakh.
One of the main elements of the Armenian defense was the computer surveillance cameras purchased after the April 2016 war in the United States and installed on the line of contact, based on the latest technologies that facilitate reconnaissance of the Armenian side. Despite these obstacles, our army, accurately performing operations, came very close to its goal. The Air Force of Azerbaijan, consisting of UAVs and AUAVs (armed unmanned aerial vehicles), played a significant role during the war. However, the Turkish army turned them into an important striking element; the Azerbaijani army pushed this strategy further forward.
Thus, when Turkey used UAVs and AUAVs in its operations in Syria and Libya, the forces there, including Bashar al-Assad, did not have enough weapons to hit these drones, and their benefits were not so clearly visible. The presence of modern weapons on the side of Armenia in the Karabakh war creates a different situation. The enemy has a huge number of modern electronic air defense systems, which he received from Russia. In such conditions, the effective use of drones by the Azerbaijani army led to the destruction of a significant part of the enemy's military potential in the war and serious losses of manpower.
It should be borne in mind that the Azerbaijani army in Karabakh is fighting mercenaries from Iraq, Syria, Greece, South Cyprus and other countries, led by Greek generals on the side of the united army of the Armenians of the world. The tactics and heroism shown by the Azerbaijani army in this war will be studied in the future. Military experts write and talk about this.
Along with the line of defense observed in Karabakh, the type, and quantity of weapons and military equipment used by the Armenian side attracts attention. This includes such modern air defense systems as S-300, TOZ, MANPADS, Krug, Kub, Smerch, etc. tanks, military equipment PDM, and armored personnel carriers. The question is how were these missile systems, in particular the S-300 and others, delivered to the territory of Karabakh? As co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Russia should study how missile systems transferred to an ally appear in the occupied territory of Azerbaijan.
Armenia brazenly claims that the war is being waged by the “Karabakh army”. The criminal regime of Nagorno-Karabakh with a population of only 70,000 (according to Western sources - Turan) cannot own even one percent of the destroyed military equipment. During the first 20 days of the war, the number of destroyed and captured tanks alone exceeded 280 units. This is more than the limit set for Armenia at the 1992 OSCE Helsinki meeting.
According to the quota adopted in Helsinki, the Armenian army should have 220 tanks, 300 PDMs, armored personnel carriers and 70 thousand personnel. Armenia, which signed the Vienna Treaty on the "Limitation of Conventional Arms in Europe", continued to arm itself, violating its commitments in Helsinki. The number of tanks and military equipment deployed in Karabakh and awaiting destruction by our army is not known for sure. Actual military equipment and weapons systems in Armenia many times exceed the quota established by the Vienna Convention on the Limitation of Conventional Arms.
This is by several times more than the amount of military equipment and weapons in the arsenal of the 7th Army, which includes three motorized rifle divisions stationed in Armenia during the Soviet era. The first Karabakh war and the subsequent arming of Armenia were carried out with the direct support of Russia. After the battle in Tovuz, this process continues in violation of the Geneva Convention on Civil Aviation.
The agreement on military cooperation between Russia and Armenia does not justify such a criminal act as uncontrolled weapons. In fact, militaristic Armenia, whose territory is completely filled with weapons of mass destruction and heavy military equipment, is a source of threat to the region. One of the steps that Azerbaijan should take is to raise before the OSCE and other international organizations the issue of organizing an inspection to determine the compliance of weapons in Armenia with quotas and involve the countries of the region in this process.
Another problem is that, first, representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations in Baku should be brought to the region so that they can see the destruction and atrocities committed in the liberated regions as evidence of Armenian vandalism. Then the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group member states, especially French President Macron, should be invited to the region.
In the liberated territories, with the participation of international organizations, legal procedures should be initiated to establish the destruction, damage caused, compensation, which must be demanded from Armenia. The destruction of civilian objects and living quarters in the occupied territories is considered a war crime under the Geneva Convention. In accordance with this, it is important to identify those who committed crimes against the Azerbaijani population in the first and second Karabakh wars. They must be held accountable for their actions.
This category includes the then political and military leaders who participated in the crimes, the Khojaly killers Kocharyan, Sarkisyan and other field commanders. Among them are terrorist organizations operating in Armenia today such as Yerkrapah, Azatamartik, and their leaders Manvel Grigoryan; as well as the terrorist who was recently destroyed in Karabakh together with his son, the head of the Black Panthers organization Rustam Gasparyan, Vahan Ohanyan and other military criminals. Most of them in the First Karabakh War were engaged only in the destruction of the civilian population. Some of these criminals were killed by our army in Karabakh these days.
An excellent lesson for them was the destruction by our army on the battlefield of the Azatamartik detachment, consisting of veteran terrorists who arrived a few days ago from Iravan to the Fizuli front. In carrying out this large-scale work, the SSC faces a serious challenge. There should be a separate trial over Serzh Sargsyan, a criminal with fascist views, who once boasted from European tribunes “Karabakh will never be a part of Azerbaijan”, “We showed in Khojaly that we are not joking”, “Azerbaijanis and Armenians will never will not live together."
Pashinyan, now "Karabakh is Azerbaijan", and if you have the honor, then shoot yourself.
