Russian Academy prepares a multi-volume "Peoples and Cultures"
The Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) is preparing a multi-volume entitled "Peoples and Cultures".
The volume is called: "Azerbaijanis" requested to prepare the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. Aording to Mais Rahimov, the director of the Institute, with such a request the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology appealed to us. According to her, this is a very important project for the Russian-speaking information space of research about the Azerbaijani people, its historical territories, ethnography, material and moral values.
For this reason, members of the Institute have a special responsibility to take the preparation of the sections on the history and ethnography of the Azerbaijani people. -03D04-

On January 16, the prestigious Gazelli Art House once again opened its doors for a private viewing of “The Whisper of the Forest – The Magic of Sound”, a large-scale exhibition by Azerbaijani artist Elnara Nasirli. Each year, on January 13, Lithuania commemorates the Day of Freedom Defenders, honoring the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence in 1991. This pivotal moment in Lithuanian history marked the triumph of an unyielding will for freedom over Soviet oppression. Fourteen lives were lost, hundreds were injured, but the desire for liberty remained unshaken.
