Last week in San Francisco, in the framework of the festival, organized by the world-renowned Kronos Quartet premiered work "Dance" by Firangiz Alizadeh, the composer and the People's Artist of Azerbaijan. The "Dance" is an academic work written on the basis of folk dance elements. "It's not just music, it is also a message" said the composer, noting that much attention in the dance is given to the dances hic neighboring peoples try to appropriate. The work is written for an exclusive program Quartet "Fifty for the Future", and reflects the various dance rhythms, come down to us from antiquity, handed down from generation to generation. This is not the first work by F.Alizadeh with «Kronos». Since 1993 Quartet presents works by F. Alizade "Mugamsayagy", "Absheron", "Oasis".
"Dance" was greeted very warmly by the public. The concert, which was attended by more than 500 spectators, was held in the famous San Francisco Jazz Center. In 2015, a work by F. Alizade "Seven beauties" was presented in San Diego at the expense of the showing side. Grammy Award-winning quartet "Kronos" was created in 1973 under the leadership of David Harrington. The ensemble performs works by such famous authors as Alban Berg, Anton Vebrn, Samuel Barber, Gia Kanchelli Steve Raikes, Peteris Vaskas.-0-

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality. The exhibition, inaugurated by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will remain open until July 20.
