Azerbaijan and France to consider possibility of development of bitumen field
Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev and former French Minister of Immigration, Integration, National Identity and Co-Development Eric Besson have discussed the possibility of attracting investors into development of bitumen fields in Azerbaijan. Besson has previously occupied the position of Minister of Energy of France.
During the meeting in Baku the sides have also discussed new investment possibilities of Azerbaijan, cooperation with French companies to attract investment, energy possibilities of the country and the possibility of cooperation in fields of alternative and renewable sources of power.
French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Monyet also attended the meeting.—0—

There is no sensationalism in the recent renaming of the Azerbaijani ship Karabakh to Mingachevir; the new name was given to the ship to ensure that two vessels would not operate under the same name, the Merchant Fleet of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) CJSC told Turan.
