Azerigas company announced results of works done on gas pipelines
From January to May 2012 Azerigas, gas transportation and distribution company of SOCAR, has laid the gas pipelines with total length of 526.8 km, SOCAR reported.
22.4 km of gas pipelines was laid in Baku, 503 km in the region and another 1.4 km fell to the main gas pipelines.
During the period of its operation Azerigas increased total length of new gas pipeline up to 10,321.8 km, of which 612.2 km are in Baku, 9,541.1 km in the regions and 168.5 km of main gas pipelines.
During this period Azerigas repaired 259.3 km of gas pipelines, of which 103.7 km are in Baku, 134 km in the regions and 21.6 km of main gas pipelines.
Azerigas numbers 1.4 million of customers throughout the country.-0--

Azerbaijan's state oil and gas company, SOCAR, has signed a joint development agreement with Bulgaria’s "Asarel Energy," part of the Asarel Medet holding group.
