Closed Brokerage Holding Company "ZQAN"
The brokerage company "Qarant Invest", stopped its activities. The fact is seen as a restructuring of the holding company "ZQAN Holding", which recently got rid of the JSC "Bank of Azerbaijan".
The company "Qarant Invest", was established in August 2011, and received a five-year brokerage license from the State Securities Committee in November of that year. It acted in the financial market and serve customers in global stock markets. For this, it worked with "Baltikums investment bank" (Latvia) and "Dukascopy Bank" (Switzerland).
At present, Azerbaijan has 14 brokerage licenses. On the functioning of two brokerage firms ("Billionaire" and "PSG-Broker") there is no news.
"ZQAN Holding" includes "ZQAN Construction", "Qarant Sigorta", "Royal Estate", "Azbentonit", "AzEuroCom" and other companies. - 08B-
