Customs fees decreased by 22.5%
In January of this year the State Customs Committee directed to the state budget AZN 97.3 million in the form of customs duties and taxes. This is 28.2 million or 22.5 % less than in December last year .
According to the SCC , in January, the volume of collected customs duties amounted to 19 million manat. This is 54% less than a month earlier. The volume of raised VAT was 73.5 million, AZN 2.1 million less than in the previous month.
Compared with January 2013 the "contribution" of the customs to ensure the state budget revenues increased by 7.8 million manat.
The monitoring of the consumer goods market showed that in January of this year, prices for some imported goods in retail sales increased, which should be reflected in the growth of customs revenue. SCC does not comment on the decline in customs duties.
In 2014, customs officers must provide to the state budget 1,510,000,000 manats. This is 9.4% more than last year . - 08D-
