First Payment for Fire Insurance at AXA MBASK
Insurance company AXA MBASK made the first insurance payment on the occasion of the compulsory insurance of immovable property from fires.
As stated in the press release, the payment is made by fire, on the occasion of an apartment in the city of Baku. Insurance payment in the amount of AZN 15,075 paid to the mistress of the apartment.
Since the beginning of the year on a policy of compulsory property insurance company has already paid about 150,000 manats.
AXA MBASK is in the process of implementation of the compulsory insurance in 5 regional offices, as well as in more than 70 agencies throughout the country. Insurance policies are available in the online mode by connecting to a single information system, the Bureau of compulsory insurance.

Recall that in October 2010, the insurance company changed its main shareholder, and on 7 December of that year, its license was renewed.
The controlling stake (51%) is owned by AXA Group (France) through its subsidiary AXA Sequros Generales, SA, De Sequros Y Reasequros (Spain).

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
