Iran Pleased with Growth of Trade Turnover with Azerbaijan
On September 19-21, Baku will host the second in a row Specialized Exhibition Iran Project-2016, in which more than 50 Iranian companies will take part.
At today's press conference on the occasion of the event, the trade attache of Iran in Baku, Mohammad Ibrahim Naghizadeh, said the event is dedicated to the achievements of this country in the field of energy as well as oil, gas and petrochemical industry, automotive industry, construction industry, agriculture and pharmaceuticals.
In addition, as part of the event, the Azerbaijani-Iranian business forum will be held in Baku on September 20.
According to Nagizadeh, while last year (according to their calendar, March 21, 2015 - March 21, 2016) the export of goods from Azerbaijan to Iran totaled $ 15 million, the same level was recorded in the latest three months of this year.
As of September 1, Iran exported to Azerbaijan goods worth $ 178.5 million, the attache said. --17D-
