Ministry of Labor: "Last Year, There Were 90 Deaths at Work"
Last year, 225 accidents at work were recorded.
According to official media quoting the head of the State Labor Inspectorate Service (GSTI) at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Fuad Alizadeh, 90 cases were fatal, and others were accompanied by injuries of varying severity. In 28 cases two or more people were involved.
The official said that during the year GSTI verified compliance with the requirements of the labor legislation in 11,527 institutions, resulting in 20 417 violations of labor laws identified. --17D-
