Next year buses will be locally assembled
Azerbaijan may stop buying buses with a capacity of 22 and 27 seats abroad.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko said during a visit to Ganja automobile plant and the presentation of prototypes of products that the production lines are ready for assembly of the Minsk machines from January 2013 on.
The local plant can be called a joint Azerbaijani-Belarusian company, because in addition to a lot of coaches are going to other vehicles, including trailers and other equipment for tractors of Belagromash and Dorelectromash.
Through the integration the Ganja plant solved the problem of unemployment, as well as the development of the design capacity - it used to employ 43 people, but now it employs 500 people.
Besides Belarusian automakers, the local production workers help colleagues from Haller (Germany), in the framework of trilateral cooperation to assemble vehicles for the transportation of household waste. -17D-
