By August 1, 2015 total number of customers of Azerigas of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) reached 1,772,347, reads official web site of SOCAR.
1.749,219 of the customers belong to the “population” category and 23,128 – to other customers.
“From January to July 2015 6558 km of new gas pipelines have been laid in Azerbaijan and 369 km of gas pipelines have been repaired. As a result of these works 140 settlements of the republic have been supplied with gas during this period,” reported the same source.
In 2015 Azerigas planned to supply with gas 681 settlements in 44 regions of the country with gas. In 2014 Azerigas supplied with gas 58 settlements in Azerbaijan.—0—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
