Number of Azerigas customers exceeded 1.9 million
By June 1, 2016 total number of customers of Azerigas, gas distribution company of SOCAR, reached 1,909,513.
SOCAR press office reported that in May 2016 Azerigas registered 11,423 new customers from the population. 2,253 of them were registered in Baku, Sumgait and Absheron region and 9,017 of them in the regions of the country.
The company reported that by June 1, 2016 130,682 families of internally displaced people are supplied with discounted gas. Gas is also supplied to 359 mosques and other religious organizations in Azerbaijan for free.—0—
