Over 16.6 million tons of profitable oil of Azerbaijan shipped from Ceyhan port
From January to November 2013 27,069,000 tons of oil was shipped from the Turkish Ceyhan port.
SOCAR reported that of that volume 16,063,000 tons was oil of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ).
In January 2,342,000 tons of oil was shipped from the port, in February – 2,287,000 tons, in March -2,364,000 tons, in April – 2,675,000 tons, in May – 2,763,000 tons, in June – 2,572,000 tons, in July – 2,448,000 tons, in August – 2,445,000 tons, in September – 2,045,000 tons, in October – 2,414,000 tons and in November – 2,711,000 tons.
Since putting of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline into operation in June 2006 230,735,000 tons of oil was been shipped from the Ceyhan port. The shareholders of the BTC Cop pipeline company are BP (30.1%), SOCAR (25%), Chevron (8.9%), Statoil (8.71%), TPAO (6.53%), Itochu (3.4%), ONGC (2.36%), ENI (5%), ConocoPhilliрs (2.5%), Inрex (2.5%) and Total (5%). –0--
