"Silver" insurer collected most of premiums by compulsory insurance
Growth of the performance of the insurance company AzSigorta through compulsory insurance turned the first time that they collected 23,215,320 manats that overshadowed voluntary services. For compulsory the premiums were even more than in the whole last year (20,787,630 manats).
On voluntary the leadership position in this company traditionally holds cargo insurance - 10,091,450 manats. This is much more than half (60.8%) of premiums for all voluntary types that make up a total of 16,641,790 manats. In the second place there is Hull car insurance - 1,975,660 manats. In the third place there is property insurance against fire and other risks - 1,693,210 manats (it's more than 3 million less than last year). Note that in comparison with the year before last, "silver" and "bronze position" again exchanged places.
Relatively good performance was achieved in the field of air transport insurance - 797,040 manat and general liability - 372,930 manat.
Voluntary health insurance and accident insurance brought AZN 1,237,950 and AZN 283,630 manat respectively, Hull insurance of water transport brought 66,270 manat, and insurance of foreign travel brought 16,680 manat.
Civil liability of air transport brought 42,790 manat and that of vehicle owners brought 36,410 manat.
Compulsory insurance (23,215,320 manats) was more than half (58.1%) of the total financial "muscle" of the company. For compulsory most of the awards took place at a new kind of compulsory insurance of car owners to third parties - 19,390,470 manats, which suggests that other members of the Bureau of Compulsory Insurance (with a few exceptions) are hard to compete with the financial structure of the Minister of Emergency Situations.
For the last time the company produced 3,656,540 manats of total insurance payments. Of these, nearly half (1,794,760 AZN) fell on compulsory insurance, the other part (1,861,780 manat) - on voluntary types. Recall that for the same period of 2010 clients were paid 1,978,380 manat, which is almost 1.68 million manat less than now.
The AzSigorta license to operate was issued in November 2006. The shareholder of AzSigorta is a single individual.
The authorized capital of the company amounts to 19,859,720 manats.
The company has a license to provide insurance on 28 items, 24 of which are voluntary types and 4 are obligatory ones.
