Since Early 2012, Consumer Inflation Was 4%
The NGO Center for Economic Research (CER) published the results of alternative statistical surveys of consumer prices from September to October. Also, take into account the results from the beginning of the year and the comparison period for the previous year. This is an objective index, calculated from the international system of calculating relative risk (VAR).
As the Executive Director of Ghalib Togrul, last month, once again there was a slight increase in average prices. Observations were conducted in 10 regions of the country (last year they were conducted in 22).
According to them, the first autumn month, consumer prices in Azerbaijan increased overall by 1.43%, which is typical this time of year. Interestingly, the prices in Baku rose by 1.98% and in regions - by 0.88%.
For food products the increase was 1.98% (in Baku - 2.62%, in the areas of - 1.36%). Non-food products recorded price increases by 1.31% (in Baku + 2.19%, in the regions + 0.45%). Fees for services (0.09%) changed slightly - in the capital recorded there was increase of 0.05% and in the regions - increase of 0.14%.
Since the beginning of recorded (January-September), a solid increase in consumer prices of 4% (+ 6.7% of the capital and in regions - 1.34%). Food prices rose by 6.12%, services - by 2.95%, and non-food products - by 0.49%.
Food inflation for the twelve months compared to the same period last year was 7.36%. Food prices went up by 11.84%, services - by 4.59%, and non-food products - by 0.59%.
In Baku, prices rose by 11.17% and in the regions - by 3.62%. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
