SOCAR plans to complete construction of offshore platform Bulla Deniz by June 2015
Neftegasstroi construction trust of SOCAR plans to complete construction of the offshore platform No 6 on the Bulla Deniz field in May 2015, reads information posted on SOCAR’s official web site.
The works have been ordered by SOCAR’s Narimanov oil and gas production department.
The platform No 6 is designed to drill 4 operation wells and it will be installed on the sea depth of 26 meters.
Construction of the platform started in October 2014. 11 foot blocks of the platform No 6 weighing 160 tons each have been installed. The works to install drilling equipment are coming to the end.
According to SOCAR’s estimates, the platform will be used to extract 600 tons of condensate and 2 million cub.m. of gas a day.
Narimanov oil & gas production department has been developing Sangachal-Deniz-Duvanny-Deniz-Khara island-Zira, 8 March, Alaty-Deniz and Bulla Deniz fields.—0--
