Over the nine months of this year 67,745 vehicles were brought to Azerbaijan, according to the State Customs Committee (SCC), of them 86.8% are imported cars.
According to the SCC, from the beginning, 48,915 new and used vehicles were imported at the declared a total cost of $ 566.7 million. Over the reported period 852 buses ($ 42.9 million) and 7188 truck ($ 171.6 million) were imported to the country.
According to preliminary information, there are about 1,070 vehicles in Azerbaijan. About half of them were imported during the last ten years.
