The structure of customs duties change
In January-March 2013 the State Customs Committee collected to the state budget customs duties and taxes on the total amount of 289.5 million manat. This is 15% or 37.8 million manat more compared to the same period last year.
In the structure of customs duties customs duties began to give way to value added tax. For example, if, in March of last year, the customs duties amounted to 34.9 million manat in the same month this year, the figure fell to 24.7 million manat. Revenues from VAT, in contrast, grew from 54.8 million to 80.2 million manat, Turan was told in the SCC.
In 2013, the government raised its forecast for customs duties from 1200 million to 1380 million manat. - 08D-
