Trouble may be with the AI-95 petrol
On April 3 Azpetrol company stopped selling gasoline AI -95 at the gas stations. Company's website reported that Azpetrol starts selling premium gasoline, and warns all owners of fuel credit cards, using AI-95 , to recalculate and start purchasing gasoline AI-98 . However, the company does not explain the decision. The information was published on April 3, and did not leave a choice the right to choose for customers. The attempts to get comments in the company were futile.
At the gas station the other all grades of oil is sold, including A-95, although Facebook published the information about the disappearance of AI-95 petrol stations. Interestingly, that at the filling station of SOCAR on the main road Baku- Mardakani the price for AI-95 is indicated on the display the same – 80 gepik, but employees of the petrol station state that the price is 93 gepik. Later, on behalf of the Tariff Council has been spread an information that from now the petrol AI -95 will be sold under the brand name "Premium" at the price 93 gepik , which meets Euro 4.
The authorities again deceived consumers and by fraud raised prices of for gasoline. Government has never intelligibly pre-notified people about future price changes.
It is known that the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in early April temporarily suspended production of motor gasoline, due to the fact that SOCAR launched a major capital repair on the largest installations in the oil refineries named after Heydar Aliyev, which produce fuel.
SOCAR management early in the year announced the upcoming repair works at the refinery named after H. Aliyev. Repair work will continue for about a month. To keep the prices the government in February decided to lower excise taxes on imported petrol: AI- 92 and AI-80 - twice, for diesel fuel - by 3.2 times , for jet engine fuel - by 7.6 times, for naphtha – by 5 , 4 times, for liquefied gas – by three times , for motor fuel (DT- 36) - by seven times , for motor fuel (DT- 20) – by 5.2 times, for furnace oil – by 49 times, and bitumen (BN- 60 / 90 , BNB-60/70) - by 16.4 times.
After the new installations in the oil refinery named after H.Aliyev are put into operation , and production capacity will come on the planned rules, imports of petroleum products will be discontinued, Turan was told in SOCAR.
Simultaneously, on April 2 petrol stations in Azerbaijan reduced the price for AI -98 from 1.5 to 1.03 manats per liter. In 2013 only three cisterns were brought to Azerbaijan, so it is not clear from where they have brought large volumes of AI-98, which will replace the demand for gasoline AI -95. It means that under the name of “Premium” is sold AI-95, but by 13 gepik higher. Semi-partisan actions by authorities for changing the brand of petrol and increase of prices once again testify that people have faced next fraud.—0—
