UNIAN: As a result of the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Russian occupiers suffered significant losses and retreated in the areas of the settlements of Novopol and Novodarovka.
This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
In the Novopavlovsky and Zaporizhia directions, he fired at civilian infrastructure in the areas of the settlements of Vremovka, Poltavka, Krasnoe, Gulyai-Pole, Orekhov, Kamenskoye and others. Enemy army aviation operated near Olgovsky.
"As a result of the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the enemy suffered significant losses and retreated in the areas of the settlements of Novopol and Novodarovka," the General Staff said in a statement.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian occupiers are preparing for an offensive in the Zaporozhye region.
"The occupying Russian troops have collected a lot of equipment and personnel on the front line section of Velikaya Novoselka - Novodarovka - Malinovka. The enemy is trying to advance in the direction of Zaporozhye, but he does not succeed well, so the location of forces at the front has not changed," the Zaporozhye region reported.
