Azerbaijani Armed Forces to hold next large-scale exercises
Baku/15.05.19/Turan: On May 20-24, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan will conduct large-scale operational and tactical exercises.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, during exercises involving parts of different types of troops, the main goal will be to work out actions to repel the enemy"s night attack and deliver counterattacks to it in various directions.
Up to 10 thousand personnel, 150 tanks and other armored vehicles, up to 200 artillery and missile systems, mortars and rocket systems, 35 aircraft and helicopters will take part in the exercises.
Difficult electronic situation, combat firing will take place at various ranges will be held at night on difficult terrain. Steps will be taken to harmonize various combat elements, landing troops on the depth of enemy territory, using special maneuvering forces, improving command and control bodies, as well as strengthening the moral and psychological state of the personnel, the report says.
It should be noted that this is the third large-scale exercise of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces over the past 10 months. -02D-

The short film “Fragments”, by Iqbal Abilov, a Talysh researcher arrested in Azerbaijan, was shown on November 14 at the Madrid Indie Film Festival (MADRIFF) in the capital of Spain.
