Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry condemns the actions of deputies from Greece and Latvia
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry declared the illegal visit of the MPs of Greece and Latvia, Garifalia Canelli and Sergejs Potapkinsa, to the occupied territories of the country .
According to the official representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Hikmet Hajiyev, on 11 April the persons violating international law visited the territories occupied by Armenians.
Such actions are contrary to the official position of Greece and Latvia regarding the settlement of the Karabakh conflict based on the norms and principles of international law and the spirit of cooperation between the legislative bodies of Azerbaijan and these countries.
These activities encourage the provocative actions of Armenia and aggravate even more the already tense situation, the Foreign Ministry said in the comments. -06D--
