MIG-29 Fallen at Sea Could Be Victim of EW (Updated)
Baku / 07.27.19 / Turan: It is possible that the MiG-29 fighter of the Azerbaijani Air Force which disappeared on July 24 in the evening crashed as a result of the use of the Electronic Warfare System (EW) from the Russian side. This opinion was expressed to Turan by a military source familiar with the situation.
According to the information, the plane fell into the sea 70 km from the coast near the Azerbaijani-Russian border. This version of the plane crash is also supported by the fact that at present the Russian Navy is conducting exercises on the use of the EW system on its territory.
