M.Mammadguliyev urges the EU to stop illegal imports from the occupied territories

On 7 May in Brussels at the first informal meeting of trade ministers of the countries of the "Eastern Partnership" of the EU, Azerbaijan was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev. The meeting was chaired by EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström, the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, Mammadguliyev in his speech stressed that the EU is the main trading partner of Azerbaijan, noted the potential for expansion of economic ties.

He also urged the EU to take measures to prevent illegal imports into Europe of goods produced in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.—06D--
