President of Azerbaijan receives NATO PA President
Baku / 12.09.18 / Turan: On Wednesday the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by PA NATO President Paolo Alli.According to the report published on the website of the president, during the meeting the head of state noted the successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the North Atlantic Alliance.Aliyev expressed the opinion that the meeting of the NATO PA Committee in Baku on economy and security will promote the expansion of this cooperation.He also pointed to Azerbaijan's participation in the NATO operation "Strong Support" in Afghanistan and the increase in the military contingent in its composition.Alli, for his part, noted the role of relations between the NATO PA and MilliMejlis of Azerbaijan in the development of cooperation between Baku and the Alliance.During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on issues of regional security and cooperation. -06D--
