Russia provides military assistance to Armenia
Baku / 22.10.20 / Turan: On October 22, the Armenian resource Yerkramas.org reprinted an article from the Golos Armenia newspaper, where Sergei Karnaukhov, an associate professor at the Institute of Civil Service and Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, confirms that Russia is providing military assistance to Armenia these days.
“I can say with all confidence, without revealing any secrets, that Russia has not abandoned Armenia in any sense. Another issue is that the public, given the hostilities, does not need to know the nature and amount of this assistance. But the Armenian people should understand that now the only country that provides assistance to Armenia day and night, and first of all to the people fighting on the front line, is Russia, ”he says.
Karnaukhov explains why Russia's military assistance is insufficient to change radically the nature of military operations in favor of Armenia because of Pashinyan's policy, which is not directed towards Russia.
“Until Prime Minister Pashinyan and his team gain political independence and continue nodding towards the advisers from the “largest embassy in the world” (the US Embassy in Yerevan - Turan), Russia will be deprived of the opportunity to provide global assistance to Armenia ...”, he continued. -0-
