S.Lavrov: Armenia will join the Customs Union without Nagorno-Karabakh
Azerbaijan has not been invited officially to the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC), said today in Baku, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. However, Moscow is always glad when its partners are interested in the Eurasian space, he said.
However, at a joint briefing with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan after the talks, Lavrov stressed that Armenia will join the EAEC as part of its UN-recognized borders.
According to him, “integration processes are carried out on the territory of countries entering the Customs Union, and the Nagorno-Karabakh is not such country”.-1606D-
