Bayramli: Reports on Mass Dismissals of Oppositionists - Provocation
Baku / 26.04.17 / Turan: The Deputy Head of the Popular Front Party (PFPA) Gezal Bayramli expressed doubts about the reliability of reports on the dismissal of 48 people for participation in the rally of the National Council of Democratic Forces (NCDF) on April 8.
Commenting on this message from www.musavat.com for Turan, Bayramli said there is pressure on activists, but there are no massive layoffs.
"Only Ali Abdullayev from the Sheki organization of PFPA has been dismissed from work, and he himself wrote about this on his Facebook page. Except for this fact, no one was dismissed," Bayramly said.
According to her, there is pressure also on the head of the Neftchala district organization of PFPA Aflatun Ahmadli. On April 25, he was summoned to law enforcement agencies and told there was an instruction from the Presidential Administration: he must leave the party, or lose his job. Ahmadli said he would prefer to lose his job, rather than leave the party.
Bayramli believes that reports of mass layoffs are specially launched to intimidate people so that they do not participate in mass protests. -06D--
