Captain Wounded During April Fighting Dies in Hospital
The captain of the Azerbaijani national army Nejmeddin Savalan wounded during the April fighting died in hospital. Despite the doctors' efforts, his life could not be saved. On May 8, Savalan died in the main hospital of the Armed Forces, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported.
On April 2-5, there was aggravation of the situation in the zone of the Karabakh conflict. During the intensive military operations the Azerbaijan Army managed to liberate a number of strategic heights in the north and the south of Karabakh from the enemy. -0--
