Gamet Suleymanov: fight in Syria will create problems

Azeri combatants in Syria are not Salafis, they belong to other trends. After returning to Azerbaijan after the war, they will create serious problems. This was said in an interview with Turan by the imam of the community Abu Bakr Gamet Suleymanov.

"There are fighting not Salafis, but members of radical groups such as Jamaat Jihad, Tekfir, Ikhwan and others," said Suleiman.

As for the threat from these people for Azerbaijan, it is that these people return to their country with the ideas, for which they shed their blood there.

"Members of Jamaat Jihad believe that only they are true Muslims and one can imagine with what intentions they will come here," said Suleymanov.

According to him, these "harmful" currents appear and mature in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq - countries, where there is war attended by international terrorist groups .

Suleymanov is sure that even after the Assad regime leaves the arena in Syria, the war will not stop as this confrontation has gone beyond civil war or inter-confession confrontation. This is a war of geopolitical character. -05B-
