According to the data available for January 2021, the volume of foreign deposits in Azerbaijani banks amounted to 126.3 million manats. Since the beginning of 2020, over the past period, the volume of deposits of foreigners has decreased by 8.7% or 12.1 million manats. The decrease took place only in relation to deposits in foreign currency. Thus, over the past year, out of 105.1 million manats placed in foreign currency, 85.9 million manats remained, and out of 33.3 million manats placed in national currency, the volume increased to 40.4 million manats.
