The development of the regions, the view of the deputy Vahid Ahmedov on issues of the public agenda, the increase in meat imports are the leading themes of today's media.

The newspaper "Azerbaijan" writes about the development of the regions, changing their social appearance. In this regard, the author recalls the state programs in this direction, as a result of the implementation of which thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises opened in the regions. The agrarian sector is also developing rapidly within the state programs, the author writes. Agropark has been cretated. Currently, work continues on the creation of 51 agropark, including 17 modern livestock farms, as well as 34 crop farms.

The newspaper Yeni Musavat writes about a decrease in meat production and an increase in its imports. The author notes that the state provides assistance to the development of animal husbandry. 60% of the cost of each animal imported from abroad is paid by the state , and only 40% pay farmers. Nevertheless, the situation in animal husbandry is not encouraging, imports are growing.

In January-April last year, more than 13 thousand tons of meat, more than 2 thousand tons of milk were imported to Azerbaijan. Over the same period this year, over 16 tons of meat were imported. There is also the problem of pastures, the author notes. -0
