Medical Resort Qalaalty Hotel & Spa Opened
The medical resort Qalaalty Hotel & Spa opened with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev in the Shabran district today. The complex was built under a rock next to the historical and cultural monument, the remains of the fortress Chiraggala.
The new facility is located at 700 meters above sea level and is based on the old resort Galaalty.
On an area of 7.1 hectares a hotel and cottages are ready to accept 354 campers. The hotel has 171 rooms, a restaurant and a cafe. Guests are offered services of spa, baths, saunas, Turkish baths, bio-sauna, massage, and exotic showers.
The complex is equipped with modern medical equipment.
There are rooms of physiotherapy, electrotherapy, magnetic therapy, hydrotherapy, etc.
The complex also has four mini hotels. 1,200 trees of 48 species have been planted. The green areas are divided into areas of 15 sq. m. An artificial pond, fountains and waterfalls have been created.
Recall that the complex Galaalty was popular in the Soviet era, where people suffering from renal diseases were treated there. -05D-
