Relative of General Maharram Aliyev detained
Baku/15.05.19/Turan: Five participants of the shootout on May 13 in Baku were detained, the Interior Ministry reported today. According to the Ministry, on May 13, at about 23:00, the 17th department of the Narimanov District Police Department received information about hooligan actions by a group of persons on the St. Ashyg Molly Juma.
Arriving on the scene, police detained five people. They were Isa Azizov, Samir Binnataliev, Rajab Hamidov, Telman Balayev, and Walid Mammadli. The Winchester gun, two brass knuckles, a knife and a stun gun were seized from them.
In fact, a lawsuit was filed under the Article 221 (hooliganism), 228 (illegal arms trafficking) and 315 resistance to a government official with violence). Operational-search measures are being taken to establish and detain other participants in the event.
According to local media reports, Isa Azizov is the nephew of Deputy Minister of Justice Maharram Aliyev and the MP Adyl Aliyev.
In the past, Maharram Aliyev was the head of the Baku police, and his brother Adil Aliyev was the head of the 17th division of Naimanov Regional Department.
According to oxu.az, a 27-year-old Azizov Isa Nadiroglu and 26-year-old Binnataliyev Samir Teyyuboglu staged shooting and thus disturbed public order. Police officers who arrived at the scene called on Azizov and Binnataliev to comply. Instead, a relative of the general, with a knife in his hand, tried to resist the law enforcement officers.
The publication notes that the name of Isa Azizov more than once appeared in criminal squabbles that occurred in the capital. In January 2016, he and his friends beat an employee of a gas station on Tbilisi Avenue. Because of the incident, gas station security guard Sadig Bagirov was seriously injured.
Hooligans drove into the gas station on a Bentley car at four o"clock in the morning, and asked the worker to fill their car. One of them gave the operator 100 manat. The tanker said he had no change and asked to wait. The passengers of the Bentley car did not like it; they are not accustomed to wait. They began to insult the operator. Then the guard of the gas station Sadig Bagirov approached the car, asked what the matter was, and politely asked to wait until the station operator changes and brings money. This request has outraged the rowdies; they jumped out of the car and dragged the guard away from the security camera.
A few minutes later, the second Prado car drove up to the same place, from which athletes jumped out, who staged a massive beating of all the staff and guards of the gas station.
In May 2015, the same group of people beat the girls at the Famous karaoke club in Baku. Then, Russian citizen Diana Babayeva and Elvina Aliyeva applied to the police on the fact of the beating. For the beating of the guard of the gas station, I. Azizov suffered a light punishment - 30 days of administrative arrest. -06D--
