The Court of Appeal uphold the detention of Rasul Jafarov
Baku Appeal Court today dismissed an appeal by human rights activist Rasul Jafarov against an extension of his arrest, according to Jafarov’s legal representative, Gunay Ismailova.
The complaint was filed against the Nasimi Court’s decision on 23 October on the extension of the Jafarov’s arrest for another three months. According to Ismailov, now defense intends to apply to change the measure of restraint on home arrest or release on bail.
