Two religious activists are released on probation
Residents of of Nardaran Ali Huseynov and Mehman Mammadov have been released on parole, according to the elder of this village, Natig Karimov.
The first was sentenced more than two years ago to 2.5 years in prison, and the other was sentenced six months ago to one year in prison. Both were charged with possession and distribution of drugs.
It is noteworthy that the two convicts are active religious figures. Local activists are convinced that Huseinov and Mammadov were arrested for an active social and religious activities. –05B06-
