Дрмбонское месторождение в Карабахе
Illegal income from the extraction of a large quantity of gold and other non-ferrous metals in the fields located in the occupied territories of the Kelbajar (Soyudlu, Gizilbulag), Zangilan (Vezhneli) and Terter (Demirli and other deposits) regions has been obtained. The facts are confirmed by pictures taken by the satellite "Azerkosmos". Specialists of audit companies will help determine the scale of damage to Azerbaijan, - said in a joint statement of the Prosecutor General's Office and AzerGold.
The leadership of Azerbaijan with surprising lateness remembered the embezzlement of gold in the occupied territories, when tons of Karabakh gold was first sent to Yerevan, and then abroad, and part is in Armenia's gold and foreign currency reserves. The development and exploitation of deposits in the occupied territories was not concealed - why did not these facts interest Baku before?
The Karabakh newspaper "The Third Power Plus", closed by the efforts of the head of the Nagorno Karabakh, Saakiyan and President S.Sargsyan, with the direct participation of the Kremlin," repeatedly reported about the "Golden Mafia" in Nagorno-Karabakh and other regions of Azerbaijan Vahram Aghajanyan, the newspaper's editor-in-chief said.
"People in the Nagorno Karabakh literally go on gold, but because of the incompetence of the authorities, disgusting state management and because of an explicit external order they do not want to realize even 10% of the region's richest potential," the newspaper wrote. There are rumors in the region that the Karabakh authorities secretly export tens of tons of Karabakh gold outside the country. Gold mining industry has been created in the region, and official Baku has been silent all these years. Why?
V.Aghajanian quoted Russian researcher Alexei Baliyev as saying that "more than 30 Armenian companies extract gold and other resources in Nagorno-Karabakh, one of the gold mining companies of Armenia (FDM), having started its activity in this region in 2001, has since extracted more than 16 tons of gold, in 2008 - more than 4 tons (!) ".
According to him, "there are 155 reconnoitered raw materials in Nagorno-Karabakh, mainly with industrial reserves, including 5 gold, 6 mercury, 2 copper, 1 lead, 1 zinc, 14 semi-precious stones, 9 plaster, 4 marble-tuff , 10 - mineral waters, 7 - therapeutic muds, and according to the data of 2008, deposits and development of numerous types of metals, especially zinc, lead, copper, gold, sulfur pyrite, iron, have been discovered since ancient times. Marble and marble limestone with a variety of colors. There are also reserves of granite, basalt, tuff, raw materials for the production of graphite. "
The well-known in Moscow company Geologix Group, specializing in engineering surveys, design, prospecting and exploration of minerals, intends to start large-scale gold mining in Nagorno-Karabakh, stated the founders of the company - 30-year-old Nikita Kochev and Pavel Kopytin, telling about this to journalist Nastya Chernikova from the magazine "Firm's Secret". In an interview with journalist Kochev and Kopytin told that they received an offer to obtain a license for gold mining in Armenia. Then arose the idea to consider another field - in Nagorno-Karabakh.
According to the expedition conducted in the Soviet years, in the occupied lands there are reserves of 1,250 tons of gold, 4,550 tons of silver, 1.84 million tons of copper, 660,000 tons of lead and other metals. "It was easy to get this deposit - there is practically no competition in the unrecognized republic. The field is owned by representatives of the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh, they invited partners to a meeting with the President of Nagormno Karabakh , Bako Sahakyan," N.Chernikova wrote.
The leaders of the Russian enterprise Kochev and Kopytin informed her that their company had already planned to start commercial gold mining in Nagorno-Karabakh in summer 2015. Whether this production began or not - "for some reason" is a great mystery. According to French sources, most of the gold mining equipment in Nagorno-Karabakh was brought from France.
V. Agajanian demanded from the presidents and governments of Armenia and the Nagorno Karabakh to deny the reports of Russian experts and the media, declaring them as disinformation, or to inform the public where at least 16 tons and each kilogram of Karabakh gold were exported and spent. How many of them went to defense needs, how many - to raise African salaries and pensions in Nagorno Karabakh, the size of which compared to the prices cause a shock for all visitors? And if they have not been spent, then where did they go? asked V.Agajanian. The Azerbaijani relevant services could not fail to know about this, although as we know, not arrested minister of the abolished Ministry of National Security, Eldar Makhmudov, was engaged in quite different activities in those years, blackmailing and extorting millions from Azerbaijani businessmen.
Why did the Azerbaijani authorities remain silent, despite the fact that illegal gold mining in Karabakh began around the late nineties, and Armenians never concealed it? Is it because the main thief of Karabakh gold was Russian companies?
