Elnur Huseynov Winner of Musical Contest in Turkey
The singer from Azerbaijan Elnur Huseynov won the song contest O Ses Turkiye - an international project carried out in many countries.
In Turkey, this project was aired on TV8 for several weeks.
Having passed all stages of selection, the final competitor with Elnur was the Turkish singer Kaya Aslantepe. However, Elnur was declared the winner of the contest due to the support by SMS sent by viewers.
At various stages of the competition he performed Azerbaijani, Turkish and Italian songs.
Elnur Huseynov is known for the fact that in a duet with Samir Javadzadeh he was the first participant from Azerbaijan in the contest Eurovision - 2008, where they took the 8th place.
After that, the duo did not sing together and Elnur Huseynov almost did not appear on the stage of Azerbaijan.
According to Wikipedia, 27 year-old Elnur was born into a family of a military and a musician. In 1992 he enrolled at the music school at the Turkmen State Conservatory for piano.
In 1999 his family moved to Baku, where Huseynov graduated medical school with a degree of dental technician. In 2001, he enrolled in the Music School named by Asaf Zeynalli, from which he graduated in 2004.
He studied the hairstylist course. He worked in the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, in the chapel at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall and in the church choir.
In 2003, he won the TV contest Sing Your Song. -02B-
