Azpetrol Deceives Consumers
Azpetrol Oil Company announced that it had decreased by 2 gapiks the cost of a liter of Premium gasoline. At the same time due to changes in the rules of the drivers’ tax payment it increased the index by 2 gapiks.
Thus, at the 82 petrol stations of Azpetrol Premium gasoline will still be sold in retail for 95 gapiks per liter.
It should be noted that Azpetrol offers consumers Premium gasoline of foreign production. On the world market the prices of petroleum products fall and therefore consumers wait for price reduction at least for imported Premium gasoline (AI 95), the price of which is not regulated by the state.
The press service of Azpetrol told Turan that currently consumers are offered gasoline imported 5-6 months ago, and the price of gasoline of this brand can be reviewed only after the depletion of reservoirs and purchase of a new batch of gasoline. The company refused to name the amount of the purchase of Premium gasoline, its current balance and the planned time of the next purchase. ---08B
