Centralized credit in the past year increased by 61.8%
Obligations of the banking system for loans borrowed from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), on January 1, 2013 amounted to 3287.9 ??million manat. Over the past 12 months, the index increased by 1255.3 million or 61.8%. In 2011, growth was 9.2%.
According to the CBA, since February of this year, loans are centralized at the rate of 4.75% per annum.
As of the end of December, centralized resources CBA were 63.6% of all funds raised by banks from the financial sector, and 21.8% of total liabilities of the banking system.
It is noteworthy that exactly 4 years ago, when the global financial crisis has only begun to be felt in the country's banking system, the share of loans to the CBA came to only 229.0 million or 2.6% of total liabilities of the banks. - 15B -
