In 2016, capital investments in the economy from the state budget will amount to 3 billion 554.8 million manats, 48.7% less than the approved budget for the current year (6,930 million manats).
For the first time the presidential decree approving the state budget for 2016 has a special section listing the size of funds for investments in infrastructure projects financed with international loans. The following year, under these projects there will be allocated 1 billion 578 million manats. This is mainly road construction projects, water supply, etc. ---08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
