Jubilee Exhibition and Conference Caspian Oil and Gas
Traditional Annual International Exhibition and Conference "Caspian Oil and Gas" (Caspian Oil and Gas) kicks off on June 4 in Baku.
The exhibition will be held from 4 to 7 June in Baku Expo Center. The opening ceremony of the exhibition will attend the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The current commemorative event - it is held for the 20th time and in scope in the Caspian region is considered one of the best in the field of oil and gas.
As the organizer of the conference and exhibition company Iteca Caspian, this year the exhibition will be the participation of 386 companies from 28 countries. Note that on the Caspian Oil and Gas-2012 participated 304 companies from 35 countries.
Compared to last year the exhibition area increased by 22%, and the total number of exhibitors - by 25%. Unfading interest in the exhibition highlight the 20% of new companies, never before coming out on the market of Azerbaijan. The main achievement during the years of the exhibition is the annual increase of the local companies that make up this year 30% of all participants.
Over the years, the exhibition took part in it 5,600 companies from more than 70 countries, noted in Iteca Caspian.
Among the VIP-guests of the current exhibition and conference, the Minister of Energy of Georgia Kakha Kaladze, Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of the UK's trade with Azerbaijan Charles Hendry, State Secretary to the Minister of Trade of Sweden Gunnar Oom, Secretary General of the Energy Charter Urban Rusnak, Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources Turkmenistan Annageldy Mammetyazov and others.
The conference is held June 5-6 in Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel. Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
