National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support (NFES) in the administrative center of Garadagh district of the capital held a seminar for local businesses.
IMF experts said local businessmen that the most appropriate projects in a developing industrial infrastructure in the capital are considered modern slaughterhouse plants baking bread, and greenhouse structures.
Entrepreneurs reported that the most sought-after projects may receive up to 100% funding from the NFES. Businesses can apply through both traditional (Baku, Yasamal district, st. A. NFES was established in 1992 and its active lending began in 2002. Issuance of loans to entrepreneurs is arranged by 38 authorized banks and non-banking credit organizations.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
